Forgive us as we are currently undergoing an extensive process review to make sure we are able to give our music consumers, the best in your legacy vinyl sound experience.

We want to make sure, first and foremost, that we protect our treasured legacy recordings and the holders of the rights to this incredible and beloved music by remaining in full legal compliance. As a result, we have temporarily suspended our Digitization Service pending further review as we work with the industry to determine how we can best serve both the industry professionals and you the consumer in a way that remains legally compliant, makes sense, and benefits both in order to continue to add value where it is most needed in today’s digital age of music consumption.

And so it truly is all about promoting this wonderful legacy vinyl sound in a format that we think fits very well in today’s digital age of music consumption and that is, in fact, a vital way to consume it, now that it can be professionally produced this way, because of what it provides and what it represents. For example, it provides a better way to finally connect us with these legacy recordings in a special way, not only because of the way this unique medium can translate the original analog sound to our human ears in a very natural and relaxed way like no other but also, because it is the way that it was heard by millions originally for many years and so that sound still lives within so many of us today. And so it is important that we are able to consume it in both ways now - traditionally on our hi-fi units at home, as well as, digitally to take advantage of what that holds.

We lost that part of the connection to that sound when things turned digital back in the 80’s and really have never been able to get it back. Now, we have a way to consume this vital part of the sound of our legacy recordings again, only now this time, digitally and professionally, for the first time and in the way that all of us are used to consuming our music today. And because of that, so many more people can finally be able to hear this legacy music in a very high caliber, textural and impactful way that they have never experienced before.

But it also represents for us today a vital piece of our music production and listening heritage of our legacy recordings and the way that we all consumed it originally. And I think we have been made to realize over the years as we have progressed into this digital age of consumption of just how important it is to be able to uphold that heritage. And so for us today, we can help best honor that and in a way that is both productive and meaningful and that benefits all.

And so it remains our intent to continue to work alongside and partner with our legacy labels and big studios as a third party provider of this high caliber digital content to help communicate it and to be able to continue to add value where it is most needed for them. But we also want to help the individual ‘protect and preserve’ and realize the full potential that lies within their precious legacy vinyl collections where we are able to under the strict guidance of the industry. We think we should be able to accomplish both and we want to make sure it is done right and in full compliance. Thus the need for a complete and thorough review of what we are able to provide for the music consumer digitally and how we can best do that and to what extent.
